The Diary of Adrian Knightmover (aged before his time)

Where potsdam is in Germany Adrian Knightmover Monday February 26th 2007
Me and Wynn (the boss) had a long drive to Dover today. We were on our way to Potsdam (in Germany) to deliver furniture. Funny, but Wynn didn’t seem to enjoy my rendition of Black Sabbath's greatest hits, so I put on my Peters and Lee CD instead. That didn’t seem to help much though.

Tuesday/Wednesday February 27th/28th 2007
Today we sailed through customs and on to Calais. It took us a day and a half to travel through France, Belgium and the Netherlands and we got to Potsdam by lunchtime. We had phoned Mr. S from the German border so all we had to do was call him again from Berlin and we met him outside the apartment block. We unloaded the removal lorry and then found a nice big empty carpark to spend the night.

Thursday March 1st 2007
I was having a lovely dream about Claudia Schiffer when she suddenly started shouting at me in German. Then I realized that it was in fact a rather large German lady outside and she was hammering loudly on the back of the lorry. It was 5am. I hid behind Wynn as he opened the back to find the large German lady and 20 other people all talking to us at the same time. Imagine our surprise to find that the nice empty carpark was now covered in gaily coloured stalls and it had transformed into a huge marketplace!

We left, carefully driving around the sausage and jaunty Bavarian hat stalls and headed back to Calais as fast as the law would allow.
