To provide an accurate quote we need to be able to estimate the type of vehicles needed to move your belongings from one property to another. In order to do this we need to know about anything that may prevent adequate access to our removal lorries. Difficult or restricted access may include: Narrow/steep or winding drives/lanes or tracks Low bridges Overhanging trees or branches Restricted parking Narrow doorways or hallways You may be able to gauge the access by either by recalling the vehicle originally used to move you in or perhaps you gas or oil delivery lorry or the bin/waste lorry, and how close that they can get to the property. Common problems with boxes and packing can include:

Fruit and banana boxes have no tops and therefore cannot be stacked. Please use good quality boxes
Plants need extra care when packing to prevent damage in transit
Pictures and mirrors are best packed in flat boxes for their protection.

An average 2 bedroom house can have 20-30 boxes
An average 3 bedroom house can have 40-60 boxes
